Under The Radar Fights:UFC São Paulo (Link)

UFC São Paulo will be headlined by Jan Blachowicz and Jacaré Souza. Souza will be making his light heavyweight debut. With the co-main event being Maurício Shogun Rua and Paul Craig. Today Pure EVil MMA will look into some of the fights on the card that have sailed right under the radar.

Bobby Green vs. Francisco Trinaldo

This fight will mark the return of Bobby Green after taking nearly a year off. Trinaldo is coming off a decision loss back in July to Alexander Hernandez. Trinaldo has never been knocked out in his pro career, witch makes this fight even more intriguing. The reason this fight has sailed under the radar is because it has main card value, yet sits as not even the main event of the prelims.

Douglas Silva De Andrade vs. Renan Barão

In this fight, Barão is in desperate need of a victory. He is currently on a four fight losing streak, with his last win coming in September of 2016. He will be fighting Andrade, who holds a record of 25-3. Wins with 19 out of his 25 wins coming by TKO or KO. This shows to be a very dangerous fight for Barão, but is also a must win.

Sérgio Moraes vs. James Krause

Although this fight will be the main event of the prelims, it was surprising to some that Krause was even on this card. Krause is currently riding a five fight winning streak. While Moraes is currently on a two fight losing streak. With one man looking to push himself closer to the top of the division, and the other looking to get back into the win column and save his position in the company.

UFC São Paulo will take place this Saturday night. With the prelims starting at 5:00pm ET and the main card starting at 8:00pm ET. Below is a link to the BBQ Pit’s main card preview.
