Bloodiest Fights in MMA History (So Far)

By Danielle DeVor

In honor of the month of October, we’re going to have some different articles here on Today, we’re talking about the bloodiest fights in MMA so far.

Joe Lauzon vs Jim Miller 1

Event: UFC 155

Awarded Fight of the Night Honors

Jonathan Goulet vs Jay Hieron

Event: UFC Fight Night 2

BJ Penn vs Joe Stevenson

Event: UFC 80

Cain Velasquez vs. Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva 1

Event: UFC 146

And that brings us to what we consider to be the #1 bloodiest MMA fight, the only fight in the history of MMA where the fight was stopped because the amount of blood in the cage was considered a health risk because the fighters could no longer stop slipping on the blood.

Nicolas Dalby vs. Ross Houston

Event: The Cage Warriors 106

Let us know what your favorite bloody battle is, we’d love to hear it.
