Former UFC flyweight contender Brandon Moreno has found a new home with Legacy Fighting Alliance. The promotion has told him he will challenge for their flyweight title on June 7th at LFA 69. He will take on LFA flyweight champion Maikel Perez.
Perez just won his title on the 20th of April after knocking out Sid Bice. He has a 6-1 pro MMA record and sits at 4-1 inside the LFA promotion.
After dropping his last two fights Moreno was released from the UFC. He was released at the same time that fans thought the UFC was shutting down their flyweight division. He holds a 14-5 pro MMA record, while going 3-2 in his time with the UFC. 10 out of his 14 wins are by submission and all 5 of his losses are by decision.
Becoming a champion with LFA will give Moreno the attention he will need to make it back to the UFC. It will be great to see just how much experience he took away from his previous UFC experience.
