MMA Gods Bless Cyborg For UFC 239!

Earlier this week news broke that former UFC Woman’s Bantamweight Champion Holly Holm was injured and unable to continue her training camp for the upcoming UFC 239 co main event vs Amanda Nunes. Holm is now being replaced by Cris Cyborg who was recently furious about being denied an immediate rematch vs Nunes due to her last performance where she lost via TKO inside the first round.

In the last few years the UFC has been very selective about who gets an immediate rematch after losing but when it comes to champions like Jose Aldo or Stipe Miocic not getting their rematch when others like Cody No Love are given their shot, it rubs everyone the wrong way.

This was the exact case for Cyborg after her last loss and some can say it shows a sign of disrespect when the promotion doesn’t grant these former champions their fair shake. However it is understandable when the fighter losses in a brutal fashion and giving them time to heal will only hold up the division.

Well the MMA gods shined down on Cyborg fans around the world who began celebrating the news in excitement to see what could possibly be one of the best female fights in UFC history especially after witnessing the fireworks in the first fight.

UFC 239 goes down July 6th, 2019 at the T-Mobil Arena in Las Vegas Nevada and will be headlined by UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Bones Jones vs Santos and will also include top tier matchups like Masvidal vs Askren Francis vs JDS and Luke Rockhold vs Blachowicz.

Below is the schedule for upcoming UFC Events and where they will be aired.
