Last year was an amazing year for young upcoming prospects for the MMA scene to keep their eyes on, and above all Connecticut fighters made their mark between Nick Newell getting his shot on the contender series and Mike Kimbel with his 6 second KO at Bellator 207. Well there is one guy who you will be hearing all about in 2019 and he’s been training with Kimbel since they were little kids. That fighters name is Jesse James Kosakowski.
Jesse grew up in a home that revolves around combat sports under his father who has been in the martial arts scene since the 1960’s alongside Bruce Lee’s original students out of Waterbury Connecticut.
Jesse takes a long walk with EVil Eddie to discuss his upbringing and gets upset when asked how Bruce Lee would do if he was fighting in present day UFC and goes in depth on what he thinks actually would happen if this was a possibility. Jesse also talks about being strategic at this stage in his career with not moving to quick as a pro and touches on some of the biggest headlines and fighters in recent times like Conor McGregor vs Khabib and much more. Kosakowski has an upcoming fight under the Bellator banner FEBRUARY 16th at Mohegan Sun!
